These Ecuadorian Hermit Crabs live on the coastal regions, at the waters edge. Thousands of these little guys can be found at the build site of CEIBA, here in Costa Rica. Because they live at the border of two bio-regions, they are a studies indicator-species for the affects of Climate Change.
As we spend more time at our future building site, the wonders of the natural environment amaze and inspire. This is one of the fundamental reasons we choose to do this here, by the beach among the trees and wildlife, as opposed to a commercial shipyard. ''We need nature, but nature doesn't need us...'' Not only for the obvious reason of sustaining life, but also to create joy, peacefulness and well-being.
